Sparta Lavender Farm is a serene agritourism destination in Elgin County, featuring over 10,000 lavender plants across thoughtfully designed parterre gardens and lavender field. The farm is located just 3 km east of the historic village of Sparta, a short, scenic drive from Port Stanley, St. Thomas, and London, Ontario.
Wander the wildflower, butterfly, and sunflower gardens, breathe in the soothing scent of lavender, and observe pollinators in our certified wildlife-friendly landscape. Our commitment to sustainable agriculture means our gardens are managed through ecological practices, without harmful pesticides, and we choose living or natural mulches over black plastic landscape fabrics.
Throughout our season, we offer garden tours, markets, live music, picnics, and harvest demonstrations. Nestled against 40 acres of ANSI protected Carolinian forest, our wildlife habitat attracts a variety of birds, especially during migration periods. Be sure to visit the Farm Shop for hand-crafted, natural lavender products made right here on the farm. Your visit isn’t complete until you’ve tried our lavender lemonade, lavender scones or lavender ice cream!
